By Air

Mangaluru International Airport (IXE) is located approximately 12 km from the city centre (10.5km from venue). Also known as Bajpe Airport, is equipped with a single terminal for both domestic and international flights.

The airport is well-connected to both domestic and international destinations.

  • Direct Domestic Flights are available from Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Goa, Kochi, Coimbatore, and Hubballi.
  • International Connectivity (Direct) includes direct flights from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat, and Dammam — primarily catering to the Gulf region.

  • Airlines operating include: Air India Express, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Air India.
    Airport Taxis, , and app-based cabs are available round the clock from the airport to the city and nearby hotels

    By Rail

    Mangaluru is a major railway hub with two key stations:

  • Mangaluru Central (MAQ) – located in Hampankatta (city centre) (approximately 3km from the conference venue)
  • Mangaluru Junction (MAJN) – located at Kankanady approximately 6km from the conference venue

  • These stations are well connected to cities across India including, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Goa, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, and New Delhi.
    Booking is available through IRCTC, authorised agents, and railway counters.

    By Road

    Mangaluru is connected through a strong network of National Highways and state roads.

  • NH-66 connects Mangaluru to Mumbai, Goa, Udupi, Karwar, Kozhikode, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram along the west coast.
  • NH-75 connects the city to Bengaluru and Hassan through scenic ghat roads like Shiradi and Charmadi

  • Mangaluru is serviced by frequent KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) buses, including Airavat Club Class and Ambaari Dream Class sleeper coaches, as well as private luxury bus operators offering semi-sleeper and sleeper options.

    Main Bus Terminal: Bejai KSRTC Bus Stand

    The primary government-operated bus terminal in the city is the Bejai KSRTC Bus Stand, located approximately 650m from the conference venue. The terminal offers regular services to and from Bengaluru, Mysuru, Goa, Hubballi, Kochi, Kannur, Calicut, Trivandrum, and other regional hubs.

  • Private bus services (including operators like VRL, Sugama, SRS, Greenline, Kallada, and Durgamba) can be booked via portals such as RedBus, AbhiBus, and MakeMyTrip.
  • Several of these buses operate from private boarding points across the city and offer both day and overnight travel options.

  • For delegates preferring flexibility, self-drive car rentals and app-based taxi services (Namma Yathri, Rapido, Uber) are available within the city.
